EXINFINITE

In the wake of a brutal encounter with vastness, the music turns inward, becoming intimate and deeply existential, overwhelmed by the limits that shape it. In this state of containment, the sound attempts to transmute—encoding itself in the cybernetic circuitry of the bio-occult, what some might call the soul or anima, that substance that haunts the hollow objects of the world: fossil voices, the vacuum, the melancholy of a lover whose partner is no longer human.

For the visuals in general, I created 3D models resembling an insect-flower, surfaces of synthetic, and kind of fetal appearance. Following Amy’s ideas about the feminine as a transformative power, I programmed a parametric system that automatically generates transformation in the meshes like a distortions and displacement
