Detail 1

Imagine Asteroxylon as a transmission artifact, much like a voodoo altar or a tsukumogami, I mean, the spirit that lives inside an object. The weird branches have a substance charged with that spirit inside, something that pulses and expands, growing inside, sinking down and thickening the air.

Asteroxylon is a plant that went extinct 400 million years ago

and was revived in the form of technology to make contact with intermediate states

listening this song is equivalent to excavating a sound

— a drone that begins outside and ends inside you, dissolving into your heartbeat… into the air, while it communicates without being sayable.

It gives the sensation of detachment: two surfaces pulling and repelling each other,

the crackle of static, fire made from dead skin,

the threshold opening with uncertainty of what will be found on the other side.

It is the rupture with the known, the twisted return of what was once loved,

the fear of being possessed
